Sports media outlet Whistle Sports partnered with the NFL for this years NFL playoffs and commissioned illustrator/animator Chris Edser to create the ‘Second Season’ series of team matchup pieces. These have been appearing across social media on the Whistle Sports network and the NFL’s official international outlets throughout the playoffs leading up to Super Bowl LI.
Chris collaborated with graphic designer Sam Barratt for concept development and graphic design input. This is the first time the pair have worked together on a major project since their partnership in Screamdance t-shirts. Some additional character animation was done by Lisa Vertudaches and Hannah Murdoch.
